Research activity:
You are to choose a research a crime that
has been in the media in the last 12 months. You can choose a type of crime
from the 4 categories above. It can be a low level or high level crime, it is
completely up to your discretion. You are to prepare a presentation that
outlines the following:
1)
What crime was committed?
2)
Who was involved (victims and
perpetrators)?
3)
What legal proceedings ensued?
4)
What was the outcome?
5)
What is your overall opinion on
the case?
You are to discuss this case to the class
as part of your oral component in Term 2. You may use material that you
research in your writing for your folio.
